Mother's Day Basket
This project has been a fun way to help provide items to organizations that help women making fresh starts in their lives leaving abusive and destructive relationships behind and learning the skills they need be healthy, productive women in society. The last two years we chose My Sister's House as the recipient of many wonderful baskets filled with many gifts and treasures meant to support women in their lives.
Habitat for Humanity Women Build
Each year a we participate in the Women Build project hosted by Habitat for Humanity. This is a great opportunity for us to help build homes for families that are in need.Women possess all that's needed to affect dramatic change in their communities. Women Build can help train and equip women to work more effectively, helping Habitat increase its capacity and serve more families.
